I would venture to say that most of us have no idea how huge the African continent really is. Some commonly used map projections have tended to reinforce the idea that it’s really not all that big. But. It. Is.

Hey, thank you very much for elaborating again our worldviews! i love this as I did my thsesis on geographical world views of the Finnish missionary kids in ten countries.
Africa is great and it is huge! But when yo come from a tiny country like Finland, the starting point is maybe slightly different. We were born to a small country and know that the World is bigger than our country.
