So I’m David, and this is my blog about birding and nature. I live in New York, where I’m Audubon‘s media relations director. I’ve been interested in living things, including birds, for as long as I can remember. I moved from backyard birdwatching to serious field birding during high school, when I got connected with some of the wonderful Greater Ozarks Audubon folks in Springfield, Missouri. I went to university in Texas, where I continued birding (with Jason and NETFO), and then I worked for an international NGO and traveled extensively across six continents and several Pacific islands.
